LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN Medallion in bronze by G. Radnitzky This medallion was made in 1870 (on the occasion of the Beethoven centennial) after the medallion by Böhm of 1822. (Beethovenhaus, Bonn)

LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN Medallion in plaster by Leopold Heuberger It was created in 1827 after the death of Beethoven. ( Historical Museum of the City of Vienna)

LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVFN Bust in plaster by Joseph Danhauser The bust is lifesize and was made after Beethoven's death. It seems inspired more by the mask of 1812 than by Danhauser's own mask, the death mask, of 1827. The bust pictured above has particular value because the artist knew Beethoven personally. (Beethovenhaus, Bonn)
