Piano Concerto (Allegro) for Piano & Orchestra in D Major (first movement); authorship: spurious – at first, many were unconvinced that this work was by Beethoven; some believed this to be a missing movement from a piano concerto by the Bohemian composer, Jan Joseph Rosler (1771-1813). Though today, some experts believe this to be a true work by Beethoven as it musically represents an early 20-year old Beethoven. Regardless, this work is estimated to have been written between 1788 and 1793.
